Is this the only 'Anniversary' outside of the US?

The sun shone today - got me thinking about the joys of spring and my pride and joy, a 1995 Anniversary Schwinn Black Phantom.

I bought it in 1998ish from the guy who was the head of Schwinn UK who told me it had been sent to England 'in error'. Some error! Anyway - he was sure that it was the only example outside of the US of A. Unless anyone knows any different....

Hey, hi Boris. No that's not an Anniversary, its a nice bike though. It's a 'Deluxe' I think.

It has been suggested that Schwinn themselves ruined the Anniversary's chances of success by releasing their own cheaper copies of it. It's why they never sold anything like the 3000 units they anticipated - why spend $3000 on a replica when you could buy a perfectly nice copy for $450?

Well be careful not to ride over anything slightly sharp or it will pop! Trust me! I have Typhoon Cords [replicas] on my '51 Panther and they are paper thin! Look good though!
