Random Parts Sale

Postby Unchained on Fri Nov 20, 2009 3:52 pm

Well, I have all of the following parts leftover from various projects and would like to move them along.

Chrome Wald(?) Wing chainguard. Had planned to use it but found another I liked better on the bike. Askking $24 shipped for it and the extra hockey stick Wald guard. They come with some extra original hardware (screws, clamp pieces, etc.)

New 26" dropstand. Good quality, just didn't fit the way I wanted it to. It locks with a pull down lever. Self hanging- spring loaded- no fender and clip needed. Asking $30 shipped.

New Kenda 26x1.75 bw tires with tubes. Had about a mile of use. $25 shipped.

New Kenda 28x 1 1/2 tires. Never ridden on- mounted and dismounted once. Heavy road tread pattern. Fits Raleigh/ English bikes that don't have an F13 rim. (That is the Canadian size, which takes 700C). The ISO on these is 635mm. Asking $25 shipped.

Brand new, never used Velo Webspring stitched cruiser seat. REALLY comfortable... just too large for what i had in mind. Asking $30 shipped.

NOS Crown D.P. Harris Electric Bell. Mint, works as nice as it looks. Very nice tone which reminds me of an antique phone. Takes a c cell battery. Asking $25 shipped.

Wedge/stem bolt/expander bolt type motobike '20's or '30's seatpost. Tightens into the seatpost tube of the frame without needing any collar bolt or clamp of any kind at the top. Nice shape. Asking $18 shipped.

You got it! That's my recipe for success. I have had pretty good luck with all carriers, knock on wood... but the plastic bags rock. You can really stuff them in there, and they take whatever shape you need, while remaining both light and soft. Good way for me to recycle those awful things, at least. :D
