Rumble Seat (Rollfast tandem)

Thanks i am trying to document it like i would like to see it. It's more work than i thought to get it just right, but not perfect.

the stem is COOL
i saw one last year at a bike shop while on a road trip with my wife
and after i saw the price tag i remember telling her how i wish i was still at a shop just for the discount
it's a great addition to a great build!
i'm taking my tandem to a bike show this weekend. i sure am glad i don't have to compete with the rumble seat

btw the dirty dog cable guides are super trick too!!

if i ran cables the guides were as good as mine. i ordered that stem and waited almost 1 year before it was ready. by the time i got it it was $40. more than the original price. true bike art.

pedals are done. nothing a wire wheel couldnt fix. the rubber was painted with Dupli Vinyl and Fabric color paint gloss black.

we cant forget the chain tensioner. look at the cool bike stamped into it.

side skirts are all painted up and ready to mount up.

mmmmm my brooks b-135 is here. now all the parts are in and we are in the final phase of the build

i am so close to finishing, but i have lost my steam. is it the holidays, my other bike, working out. has this ever happened to anyone else.

it's almost done done. now i have to find a great place to photograph it.

i took the kids down to the work shop along with another mango martini and banged it out. one of my big problems is i dont have a way to get it to a cool place to photograph it. i am going to have to get creative.

my god they were climbing all over it. my 2yr old was using a screwdriver on it. you had to know he would chip the red paint on the rims.
