Hot Rod Huffy

Postby rusty513 on Tue Jun 05, 2012 2:48 pm

The ideas started to flow once I saw how much space I have for a wide rear wheel. I have 3.5" in the rear. So I'm thinking 24x3 with a felt whitewall tire. Here's a pic of the frame I'm using & here's a few pics that are inspiring me. This build is going to be a comfy rider that I'll be keeping.

Those are cool frames. That truck is killer.
I tried being serious, but it was boring.

Started sanding a little & made a cardboard template that I will either cut out of medal or laser cut out of plastic with 3 holes in it.

Just ordered the felt 24x3 rear wheel with 3 speed & white wall felt tire. This is going to be my rider.

Scuffed up the rim with sand paper, primered, painted & cleared it in red.
