Finally, Twin Tube Higgins, Quick Build = )

Postby Carbon on Thu Jun 28, 2012 8:29 pm

Picked up a killer JC Higgins twin tube Flight Liner frame and fork set from good ole fello member dogdart, got it in today, awesome, i've always wanted a twin top tube bike and had seen this one on the sales forum a while back when I didn't have any extra doe, well searched the archives last week and found it and he actually still had it, snagged er up. Threw it together this evening for a surprisingly good riding quick build. Running a 36/16 gearing on it and she rides like butter. Cream wheels and matching cream crank sprocket.

Great looking Flightliner, I've always liked the double bars also.

No, Rollfasts were made by the Snyder co., who also made a lot of Hawthornes. They did have a twin tube frame that was similar, but with different dropouts and rear stays. Only Murray had the pointy dropouts. -Adam
