New School Cruiser

Postby Carbon on Sat Aug 18, 2012 9:28 am

Broke this here old Huffy mountain bike down, tossed the gears, switched the wheelset, stuffed a bmx Redline Sealed Monster crankset in it, threw on a set of S&M American made cruiser bars and this thing rides awesome. I been wantin to build a diamond frame cruiser for a while now and when this here ole girl popped up at my local GFC for 28 bonz, I knew what had to be done. Gonna get alot of daily ridin in on this one. Here she is next to the ole lady's whip.

Looks good! Nice and simple and you can't go wrong with that.

I'm always a fan of black, but it's been done before. I'm feelin' a root beer like color on it for some reason.

That would look cool, I was actually thinking something almost like that burnt orange/copperish color would look good to.
