So I removed the fenders, and flipped the handle bars. I also swung the seat to the rear position, then took it for a short ride.

I've got it in the shop now. I got some tubing, then went after it with the cutting wheel. That other down tube came off faster than a strapless gown on prom night. Not that I would know anything about that. Now its time to fab the new horizontal bars...... Back to the shop! Fire & Metal..... It doesn't get much better than this ...... Hey, Necessary Evil.... Hold tight. Maybe I'll just send those grips out to ya'.... After all... You are the one that started this!!!!
