Love this bike! Those hubs are so cool! How does the shimano shifter work with the sturmey hub?

Since this was built , I was never happy with shifter setup, so I have slowly ben putting the conventional shifters back on and eliminating all the extra cables everywhere, (too many projects) and then some pointed white Elgin grips
