1940s-50s Schwinn Chief - Denver Area

This ad has been floating around the Denver craigslist scene for a while. I'm dying to build up an old DX into a Klunker but this thing looks too nice to break down and bastardize. To my untrained eye it looks like a nice collector piece but who knows with CL.... Thought you guys might be interested in looking:
