Cleaned and painted the seat today. It looks fantastic! When assembled it will be very cool.

all I got done this past weekend was to strip off the top layer of paint and reveal the manufacturers tag:







Haven't decided if I'll go with a patina build or a repaint yet. If repaint, I'm leaning towards flat red today. Tomorrow, who knows what color...

can anyone verify the year of this for me? I was told it's a '57

That looks kinda neat. I like the idea of the flat red with white wheels and accents though.

Leon at NBHAA was very helpful, and dated my bike to 1946-1/2. That's actually about 10 years older than I was told when I bought it.

So I got that going for me...

This is as good as I could get the crank and chainring. Crank got painted with Hammer finish. Chainring still has some pitting- oh well.

Decided to go with an aluminum louver tank. I think it will look better than modifying the rotted out Monark tank.

Also decided on a color today - finally. Dark primer grey.

That tank was the way to go IMO. It was looking awesome!
