Thanks for that!
I have a stack of 500 that will go out this week, hittin up all the bike shops, lots of Haysville businesses, got it on Channel 7 public access here in Haysville also.
Ought to be plenty of sellers and buyers.

Re: 4/22/12 Midwest Bicycle swapmeetspace is an issue for me so I dont hang on to too much stuff.... so i will just show up with
like whole bikes to trade or sale.. and few odds and ends.. 3 space liners.. 2 with tanks.. schwinn heavy duty .. huffy muscle bike of the 5 speed persuasion things like that have lots of skip tooth stuff but think I want to keep that stuff.... most of what I have are riders pretty complete bikes.. boring huh I love the smell of fresh barn finds in the morning
Re: 4/22/12 Midwest Bicycle swapmeetI think I'll make it there too, but Haysville is a long ways from Lawrence ( if YOU'RE driving).
I also have too much stuff I want to bring down. I think I'll have to rent a U-Haul or two,... or more. (twitter) @whoabroitsjack

Re: 4/22/12 Midwest Bicycle swapmeetBring it on!
This is a pretty laid back deal... the swap spaces are whatever size you need, whether its a pickup load or a big trailer load, or even a semi-truck load... we will have the place for you and its only $5 no matter how much space you need. For those of you coming from out of town... I really appreciate you guys coming, and I think you'll have a great time. With gas prices what they are, it might not hurt to see if there are others in your town that are interested in coming, team up and share the costs. Old bicycle stuff is never boring, just sit back and watch... you'll get a guy that shown up at 10am with a truckload of stuff... and watch all the guys come a runnin... deals are made before he can get unloaded ---Mitch aka Grillmaster Mitch.... you know....... the guy that burns the Hot Dogs!

I can spot the deals, but have to wait until the end of the day to get my treasures. I don't bring spending money with me, I gotta sell treasures first. The best deals are to be had when everyone is packing up anyway. ![]() Cameron

Re: 4/22/12 Midwest Bicycle swapmeetIf any of the out of towners need too they can park there trailer in my drive the night before. I'm only 2 blocks away from swapmeet and I promise I wont look
Re: 4/22/12 Midwest Bicycle swapmeetGot at least 10 bikes to bring. And some odds and ends
Do I need to sign up before hand or that morning when I show up ok I love the smell of fresh barn finds in the morning
Re: 4/22/12 Midwest Bicycle swapmeetNo need to sign up, just show up, pay $5 and pick a spot. We have plenty of room and nobody will be turned away... now if we have 500 sellers show up... that might be a problem!
I will say that the (12) pavilion spots are first come first served. I know of several that do want a pavilion spot and Ill do the best I can to "save" a spot, but please dont beat me up if you dont get the spot you want. In reality there are no bad spots. the only difference is that the pavilion spots have a concrete pad, whereas all other spots are dirt/gravel. I prefer to keep it laid back, Im not organized enough to offer pre-entries... Even If I did, Im sure I would screw it up. ---Mitch aka Grillmaster Mitch.... you know....... the guy that burns the Hot Dogs!
