very cool 1941-42 vintage Huffman made Western Flyer! if you decide to go in a different direction with the front end I could use the trusses.
I always get attached to the Huffmans I'll be watching this one!

Scott,
Im probably going to do something different with the front end, but I really want to keep the originals in case I decide to put it back. If I do decide to leave it... you got dibs!

 Dude... you on crack or what?
At the rate your going, I predict you will be all finished up by next wednesday at.... noon?

Patience lil buddy, patience

Perfection takes time. Oh and its probably not helping that Im right in the middle of trying to get that Indian bike rebuilt. Im hoping to get it painted this weekend.

As far as the old Western Flyer... Progress is being made behind the scenes, gotta chase parts ya know. Especially since I dont have a warehouse full of cool parts like you!

That's ok, You two. I spent half the night before you came over with a voodoo priestess putting a variety of curses and hexes on those parts. It is easy to come up with live chickens to sacrifice out here in the sticks.

A Voodoo priestess AND sacrificing chickens.... Im doomed!

Cody, I did get the wheels unlaced with a pair of wire cutters, that Comet (or is it Komet?) hub sure cleaned up pretty!! wow I was amazed. I did get it laced into the 700c rim so I can use it on the Indian bike.... pics and probably a new thread for that later.

The drop center rims cleaned up nice too. I may go ahead and use them on this bike. I think it will fit the theme better anyways. my only other option was to powdercoat the painted set I got from Cameron.
