KOTA wrote:Probably the easiest bike I've ever done. Traded "yeshoney" some parts for an old 20 inch Rollfast tandem. Just added some parts, fabbed a seat post, put the running gear from a West Coast Chopper. That's it. It was Extremely comfortable. But now, member Peterbuilt, "returned" it back to a kid's tandem for his daughters. Like I said, EASY build. But pretty effective.

Man, alot of beautiful choppers here. Since I'm not welding YET, this Tandem chopper has completely inspired me. I've got to do this at some point in the NEAR future...
But now that I have a welder I'm going to teach myself how to and the first Chopper I'm doing is Granny's Nightmare,( http://www.atomiczombie.com/ct-granny.html#granny ) because I have a plethora of old women's frames...

You can't just post a picture with a carved coconut on the handlebars from only one view and no explanation! That requires a little extra input! :D

This is my custom designed and built Schwinn Stingray chopper. Drew it up in Summer of 2005, finished the build in time for the 2006 Detroit Autorama bicycle show. At that time it was metallic red. This past summer I changed to color to white. Powder coated this time, painted last time. The rear tire is an Avon Viper 130/70-16 scooter front tire, about 5" wide. Bike is just about 8-1/2 feet long, or about 6" longer than the Schwinn Spoiler. Chainguard is from a Spoiler actually. May try to take it back up to Detroit in 2013 to show it again.
