Good to know. Possibly a Meteor then. I didn't know much about it when I first saw it.

It's funny you should ask. It's going S L O W. Since catching the vintage "bug," I've spent more time acquiring bikes and parts vs. working on them. Don't get me wrong... I've got projects in the hopper, just don't have anything to show off yet.

This DX was my first "real" vintage purchase. I've since added another DX, a Shelby Hiawatha Arrow, three JC Higgins Colorflows, a 51 Western Flyer Super, a 92 Western Flyer Repop, a 49 Hawthorne, a 50s Schwinn Hornet, Tornado, and 48 BF Goodrich badged straightbar. Just picked up another CWC with a shockmaster fork a couple of weeks ago. It's safe to say.... I'm a addicted.

Shoot pics of each of those bikes. We'd love to see them.

Amazing how finding new bikes to you puts earlier projects way on the back burner.

Yeah... it's called A.D.D. One second I'm tearing a bike down... next thing you know, I'm tilling the garden. A few rows later, I'm tightening up the clothes line, then mowing the lawn. Then, after spending a couple of days looking for the tools I absent-mindedly put somewhere... it's back to working on the bike, then I'm off to edge the sidewalk, only to see that the rain gutters need cleaning.... etc, etc, etc...

I'm more into the collection of bikes and needed parts right now anyway... gearing up for a significant lifestyle change. It all started with the 1998 Raleighs. Then, I started buying anything that was "vintage" It was all down hill from there... I've become a little more selective these days. Here are a few of the pics you asked for. I don't have pics of some as they are in storage... but, I can post them later.
