Mom drug it home, the sticker says holiday yet the woman who was giving it away kept saying it was a firestone, and that it was a 26 inch. The s/n looks like it says cy0244 and it has the mexican bendix hub.

Re: What is thiswhat does the sticker say on the down tube?
Nick.
Re: What is thisI don't know what the sticker says, it's really faded. And isn't there a serial number date chart for these?

Re: What is thisLooks huffy to me
Re: What is thisThe serial number should be either under the bottom bracket or on the side of the head tube. It may start with either a H, W, HIA, or S and like the Huffy chart says, first number is last number of the year made. i.e. H912243, the 9 makes it either a 69' or if it had a tank, maybe a 59' (its not) or a 79' (no). That chainring used mid 60's thru early to mid 70's, when they went to the 5 spoke style, then the 4 spoke style used in the 80's. Neat find and good luck!
