Ouch, but whatever, you have to show us how you finish this thing.

Looks like just cut down and the other pieces welded on. So, what's the verdict? In my opinion, this looks like less modification of the original frame than some others I have seen.

so why isnt this one elligiable for this build off?
hes got a 100% stock frame...
albeit flipped and some other tubing welded on and some new drop outs added on but it looks 100% legal since the stock frame HASNT been cut apart....just stuff welded onto the existing frame.
hes did stay withing the building rules....just added stuff on....nothing more than what alot are doing by cutting the stays off widening and stretching them :? :? :? :? :?
i say to those say it isnt eligible explain why?

now....nice looking bike

In my honest opinion this one probably stretches (no pun intended) the spirit of the rules a bit too far, but it surely isn't up to me to decide whether it stays in BO7 or not. (Not my job boss!). I am fine either way in that regard.

I think it's a very cool build and I plan to follow it like so many other builds.

Great looking bike!

EDIT: I am totally removing my comment about your powder coating. Who knew we had someone here that had the luxury of being able to do it themselves? Lucky lucky man!!!!

Wrong on the powder coating! I am the production manager for a powder coating company. I get the joys of powder coating my own stuff.
