Moin moin from Germany

Postby Lucky13 on Thu Mar 20, 2008 4:51 am

Hi folks!
Just wanted to introduce myself since I've been watching this forum for a few weeks now.
My name's Michael and I live in the most northern and most beautiful part of Germany.
Until now I've owned only a couple of bikes, most of them low budget builds.
Right now I'm working on two bikes. A chopper and a cruiser. I guess I'll introduce them in the bike builds section.
Besides working on bikes I'm into classic cars (owned a Opel Rekord C from '71 and currently I have 1970 Opel Kadett B Coupe, called "Kiemencoupe").
I'm thinking of setting up a cruise during a big fair in my hometown, the Kieler Woche/Kiel Week. If you're into sailing, maybe you've already heard of it.
The bike szene has developed pretty fast here in Germany, we have a lot of regular cruises and meetings, so I hope that I get the ok from the city and can start on working out a route.

Hallo, wie gehtst?

Old Opels, sweet. I'd love to get my hands on an '80s Monza, but roadtax and current gas prices keep getting in the way. :)
