bike name is 1949 cadillac-100% done-look and post

when i got this bike it had black tar on and in everyplace you could think,nothing moved and crank was bent,bars stripped after alot of sanding and stripping i got it all ready.
Ok so it's ready for paint...the base coat is going to be ALMOND its a soft tan and the accents are going to be hunter green ......It's a gift for my soon to be father in law
if you look on the last page there are pic,s of the painted bike..

Your right, the fins on the dropouts and chainguard do resemble a 59 caddy. It would be really cool to make this bike a caddy theme and fab up tiny 59 tailights on the dropout fins. Just a fun thought if you change your mind about your current ideas. :)

Looks like you've done a thorough sanding job! :) I think the colours will look good! Where are the lights from the other pics of this bike?

Oh, my mistake! I thought that was the rear light, looked kind of red-ish in the pics, and the photos get cropped on this screen so I didn't see where it was mounted. :roll: Cool lights anyway!

well here it is painted in almond..next it has to dry then a lot of wet sanding-then a little green paint

ok first coat of paint on,,bike name is now 1949 cadillac- p

I also wet out and found a Cadillac head badge and a small cadillac key chain and chrome lettering .im going to glue the key chain and chrome lettering to the chain guard then shoot it with clear coat.and the head badge is going on the front finder.
