when ever i look at this bike i think of a old cadillac..
Your right, the fins on the dropouts and chainguard do resemble a 59 caddy. It would be really cool to make this bike a caddy theme and fab up tiny 59 tailights on the dropout fins. Just a fun thought if you change your mind about your current ideas.

Looks like you've done a thorough sanding job! I think the colours will look good! Where are the lights from the other pics of this bike?

Oh, my mistake! I thought that was the rear light, looked kind of red-ish in the pics, and the photos get cropped on this screen so I didn't see where it was mounted. Cool lights anyway!
"Dä ä aldri kört!"
this is kind what im thinking
That's so cool! The bikes grow on trees where you live!
well here it is painted in almond..next it has to dry then a lot of wet sanding-then a little green paint
I also wet out and found a Cadillac head badge and a small cadillac key chain and chrome lettering .im going to glue the key chain and chrome lettering to the chain guard then shoot it with clear coat.and the head badge is going on the front finder.
here is a pic of what im going for----1949 cadillac
Wow. Bikes really do grow on trees over there!
Heavy on the green with Almond highlights I say.
