Six hour special

Postby BigDaddy on Sat Sep 01, 2007 9:04 pm

Here is my entry hope it isn't to late...it is a Raleigh 6 speed frame that Firewalker gave to me after he stripped the parts he needed off of it.. After cleaning off all the decals and decal glue (yuk) it did not look to bad.. After heavy cut polish, cleaner wax then waxing ,the original paint looked awsome.. Added the white wall tires with rims, (purchased for fifty bucks from Firewalker) made the dice caps ,added new pedals, fliped the original bars and added grips and....Voilla, here she is..

Wow, beautiful and it's not just because I am a sucker for red bikes. Great work man. :D

It's called a Dorcy...a cheap nock off of an old school seat but comfy none the less...very springy and did I say cheap. :D

Ther is no such thing as half as nice ..as long as you like what you have acomplished thats all that matters... enjoy what you build for yourself and if you get the odd compliment ...(thank you guys )....thats just icing on the cake.
