Name Change, Theme change. The Challenger

Postby vanilla_gorilla on Mon May 02, 2011 8:13 pm

im using the corpse of my 1960 Schwinn Speedster for my BBO6 entry.
and the inspiration from Mickey Thompson's salt flat cars "Challenger", and "Challenger II"

I want it to resemble a barn fresh dragster find.
here we go

My dad has been involved in firefighting for about 40 years now, and a close family friend was killed in the line of duty a few years back, so I'm very appreciative of you guys....especially the volunteers!

I like that movie Quicksilver. Especially the scene where Kevin challenges the taxi driver to keep up with Nelson Vales our then top USA velodrome sprinter. He was an idol of mine back in the day when I was racing.
