He's music kicks out! "Riot in Brighton" being my favorite. He has lived in Downtown Minneapolis (with his wife, a MN native) for the last several years. Plays a lot locally. Heard he was going to start Banjo Rock (?!) I got to see his hot rod at the 2010 Minneapolis Messaround, pretty cool.

The fact that Brian is old and still rockin' is a plus in my book! 8)

After the post of his 5-window deuce, I feel compelled to add the lyrics to "Switchblade 327". Rock on, Brian!

Brian Setzer
The Dirty Boogie (1998)
Switchblade 327

Written By B. Setzer

Switchblade 327
Lit Cigarette In His Hand
Steel-Toed Boots On The Accelerator
Oil Leakin' Outta The Pan

Switchblade, Three Two-Barrels
Gettin' There As Fast As He Can
All Juiced Up Like A Hot Carburetor
Spittin' Gas Onto The Fan

Blacktop Burnout, Saturday Night
Try To Catch Him If You Can

Switchblade 327
Switchblade, Seven Come Eleven
Switchblade, He's All Right
When He Gets Drunk He Fights All Night

Switchblade 327
Pullin' Way Ahead Of The Pack
Chop Top Deuce, Saturday Night

Flames Shootin' Outta The Back

Switchblade, Don't Cut Him Off
He Won't Cut You No Slack
He'll Cut You To Ribbons If You Come To Town
He'll Carve His Name In Your Back

Blacktop Burnout, Saturday Night
Try To Catch Him If You Can

Switchblade 327
Switchblade, Seven Come Eleven
Switchblade, He's All Right
When He Gets Drunk He Fights All Night

Switchblade 327
Someone Was Calling His Name
All He Could Hear Was His Engine
And The Sound Of The Pouring Down Rain

Switchblade 327
Ran 125 Down The Lane
But Someone Had Cut Both His Fuel Lines
And The '32 Burst Into Flames

Blacktop Burnout, Saturday Night
Try To Catch Him If You Can

Switchblade 327
Switchblade, Seven Come Eleven
Switchblade, He's All Right
When He Gets Drunk He Fights All Night (Repeat)

Great song.

Cool car. He also has a nice guitar collection http://briansetzer.com/guitar-gallery

He played banjo the night we seen him. I recently watched an old Stray Cats video where they did Foggy Mountain Breakdown with Brian on banjo.

His latest album Brian Setzer Goes Instru-mental has been nominated for a grammy.

Still have to check out Brian locally soon!
Brits seem to like rockabilly! Stray Cats did well across the pond
Here is some rockabilly from a Brit woman true to form
