Plymouth Mass

...a little after Thanksgiving, but this is the harbor where the Pilgrims anchored the Mayflower and set out to found Plimoth Colony in 1620....the living museum, a replica of the settlement, is directly behind me ...

...they were heading for the Hudson River, but ran out of beer ( each passenger was allotted one gallon of beer per DAY ) and this area gave them rich land to farm, and fresh water to provide, the rest is history...
...there's no basement at the Alamo...

Always referred to our state as the "beer" state, not the Bay state...If anyone visits here, they should check out Plymouth Plantation, well worth it....NICE pic.

still have to visit the Mayflower brewery tho...

...super fresh...it's actually on the next pier over, next to the Capt John fleet but within sight of the Mayflower...super small place but it IS real good
