I NEED A TRUING STAND!

Postby KickBackCycles on Fri Mar 23, 2012 12:36 pm

My cheap Ebay one makes my wheels crooked.
I want one that is good quality, doesn't have to be expensive or new, just straight.
I have some bikes and parts I would trade but I would also buy it.
Pm me so we can make a deal.
Thanks-Jack

Things been kind of slow lately with selling bikes. I was just hoping someone was upgrading their stand or getting out of the hobby and would need to get rid of one.
But your probably right about just buying one.
If anyone has one let me know, in the meantime I'll be savin' up.

Check out this professional "stand" I found on Ebay...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BICYCLE-WHEEL-B ... 2a17af4c4f
I don't know if its worth $1500 + $400 in shipping but it would be nice to use the automatic setting.

I just purchased a TS2.2 and I have to say that it does feel solid.

There is one problem though, don't think that it will be ready out of the box; it will require a few measurements to verify that the wheels will be even on both sides measuring out from the hub.

Thanks for the input.
I almost have enough money to buy one.
After that I'm going to buy a bike stand.
And I just bought a toolbox of park tool and other various tools off cl.
It's going to be like a small bike shop in my house.
And there will be NO bike problem I can't handle. 8)

I just bought this!!!! Can't wait till it arrives!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... true&rt=nc
I'm slowly losing my dependency on the bike shop.
And at $70 for a set of wheels (trued) it will pay itself off in no time. 8)
