Sweet. Gotta love those springers
Re: Sears Spaceliner FindCool! Seat is most likely original as mentioned and my springer fork did sell, sorry, it would have been great for this bike.
"king of plastic bags"
"Look, Ma, no brakes!" There's only one speed and it's CRUISE
Re: Sears Spaceliner Find
I'm pretty sure yours is a '66. it's identical to the one I got for my 8th birthday (and sadly sold, in my ignorance, later in life). I put a lot of miles on that baby on the fire roads in the hills of Marin County CA, long before the idea of a mountain bike was a glimmer in Gary Fisher's eye. I guess you could say with the springer fork and sprung seat, it was the forefather of today's full suspension bike. Here's a link to pics of a '64 (no comparison with yours) http://www.trfindley.com/pgspclnr.html
Re: Sears Spaceliner FindI just got the same bicycle, will be looking for the tank & rear rack if anyone has any please send me a P.M.

Re: Sears Spaceliner FindNice, wish mine was that clean.
It doesn't matter what I paid for it, it matters what it's WORTH. I never buy anything I will regret KEEPING.
Re: Sears Spaceliner Find
Awesome pair of spaceliners! Fantastic condition for their age! My Favorite Color is Rust!
Re: Sears Spaceliner Find
I was told these sat in the window of the bike shop on display for years, everything is in working order too, BUT might need a rear reflector on the girls, no biggie.
