Re: If you had $100,000 what would you drive?Yes a suicide door Lincoln will always be a cool car.
It doesn't matter what I paid for it, it matters what it's WORTH. I never buy anything I will regret KEEPING.

I've got a list of dream cars as long as my arm; but the '64 Continental is in the top 5. ...as long as it's black. You don't need reflectors if you've got enough chrome.

Re: If you had $100,000 what would you drive?
I had a chance to buy one, but my dad wasn't as interested as I was. $3000 OBO...It was blue, with the blue interior. I would be driving that car right now. I would have loved to keep the blue interior, paint the outside flat black, and then blue wheels with wiiiide whitewalls. Buy Bikes
Re: If you had $100,000 what would you drive?
I used to have a neighbor who had a business of sorts as a finder for those cars. He was into them. He told me (this was about ten years ago) that he could find me a driver hardtop for about three grand. He said that the hardtops are still out there for relatively good deals, because "everyone wants the convertibles".. I'll have to see if I can find his card... You don't need reflectors if you've got enough chrome.

Re: If you had $100,000 what would you drive?I'd kinda like to make or modify a track chassis with a full roller motor and hide it under a beat-looking orange 4-door Maverick with cheap center covers and a little rust peeking through around the wheel well.
Oh, and a cop-style "brush guard". it's all about the bikes, man. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=50053
I was going to update my sig line, but I'm not seein' anything worth plagiarizing right now.

LOVE the hardtops. Convertibles are boring to me. Buy Bikes

Me,too. Well; that and I can't look at a convertible version without thinking of JFK..... You don't need reflectors if you've got enough chrome.
Re: If you had $100,000 what would you drive?Last year there was similar thread about "your" dream car, I posted the T Rex. If I remember , I was told it wasn't even a car. Zygotelittle, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with an appreciation for that work of ART! MY INTRO/BIKES ... WHEEL WE EVER BE SATISFIED?
Re: If you had $100,000 what would you drive?
The T-Rex is a formidable competitor on both the street and track, there isn’t much that can keep-up with one! And yes, they are indeed works of ART Kota! ![]() ![]() ![]() Several years ago, they had a booth at the New York International Motorcycle Show – it, in my opinion, “was the best in show”.
