newbie from the philippines...

hi everyone..

i'm from the philippines and from where i sat, people here are goin nuts about these old bikes. i've been into bikes for several years now and i love picking. i've been regularly checking ratrod and find the site helpful in both restoring and customizing these old bikes. if only i found out about this site a little earlier, i wouldn't have sold the first bike i got. it was an Iver. several years ago you can only find little research material in the internet, that's why i sold it. and until now it still haunts me. but now i recently collected some, starting with my uncle's westfield. then a schwinn, then a roadmaster, and so on and so on.. here is my westfield..

Most people have a bike that we wished we hadn't sold (or junked when younger)

yeah you're right, i still wish i didn't sell it.. well actually i'm building a couple right now but here in the philippines its hard to find nice original parts and sometimes too expensive. but i'm fortunate i got my bikes for a bargain.. will post them soon..
