1970 Columbia

Postby kaputs11 on Sat Jul 14, 2012 8:41 pm

I actually hauled this out '70 Columbia out of a barn. It was hanging upside down from the rafters with years and years of barn swallow poop piled on it. It took me a while to clean it up...but I think it cleaned up pretty well. The amusing thing is that the guy paid me to haul it away as garbage.

Wow...another minty gold Columbia middleweight.

Looks almost identical to the one that was found last week.

That's very nice! Yeah, if you have a 'before' picture, I'd like to see it too!

THe best news is that when you sell it to me for $10, you've still turned a profit!! :D SCORE!!

Sorry...no before pictures....I usually take pics of projects that need extensive work to bring them up to speed. This bike just had a lot of bird poop and farm grime on it. No recreation photos either as I don't have any barn swallows residing in my storeage shed. Thanks for the $10.00 offer...but I think I will have to pass on that for now : )

Pretty awesome the guy PAID you!
Wake up every morning wondering what new bike I'll find!
If you don't have pics, it probably didn't happen!
