Gambles Hiawatha - Help w/ Serial# Please?

Gang,
Trying to determine the year of build and the original manufacturer of my Hiawatha. I don't believe that it's a CWC built, however it did come with CWC fenders (thanks ratina!), but they may have been put on earlier in life. Also, it doesn't have rear dropout lugs for a stand either.
Serial is:
T7606 65

The frame in question: Btw, is this a "sweetheart" chainring?

I know that Shelby built some Hiawathas late prewar, though this bike doesn't scream Shelby to me. Almost looks like something weird, like a Manton & Smith. I'll defer to Phil/rms37 for a definite (or closer) diagnosis! -Adam

Thats a shelby build bike alright, Ive had a identical western flyer badged frame. I think they date from around 1936 if im not mistaken.
