I purchased this item from a local antique shop. The owner told me it was some sort of bicycle accessory holder that mounts to the seat post. The part is stamped B.G.I. Co Oct 22 1895 1 3/8". Has anyone ever seen one before, or have any idea what it is? Thanks Dave
