20" AMF Debutante that my son picked up. I think it has potential but may need some help from you folks. I know that wheels are shot and need to be replaced. The fenders are in great shape and would look great with a fatty wheel and tire of some kind. Any recommendations?

No, they (headlights) were on as is. The rims were painted at one time, too. It is in really nice condition and should clean up nicely.

Use naval jelly and a more medium grade steel wool on spokes. It gets all those years of oxidation off very nicely. Follow that up with a pass from an SOS pad and water and they look new! Also, always wear gloves and eye protection when using naval jelly.

Is it me, or does that front fender look like it's on backwards? Nice score!

Thanks. I lucked out and scored handlebars with a shorter rise, for that more 'petite' look. Fun projects so far, the both of them. I'm learning...

I have the light caps but they need to be refinished. I might try that spray chrome? Plus, I'm looking for a way to fabricate the lenses, too.
