Hi, I'm new here. David from Santa Cruz. Have always appreciated working on bikes and especially appreciate the acceptance of rat rod bikes. If it rolls, it rules! I'm a long time recumbent bike commuter with a bamboo Frankenstein recumbent and several quadracycles under my belt. At 70 I dropped my bias against electric bikes, whatever it takes to keep on the road. I want to share my newest project which is a 1951 Schwinn built B.F. Goodrich barn find. All the parts are there (about 20 lbs of pressure still in the original tires) but only about 20% of the paint remaining. A bunch of "before" photos that I'll share.
