Need ideas for the Electra Cruiser.

I bought a Electra Cruiser 1 in hopes to lose weight. I haven't ridden it that much due to it not having that "fun factor" when riding it. I was hoping to make myself a cool Urban assault type bike with that ratty flair, but I just don't know where to start. I am a BIG dude, and even with the...

Don't need a low gear for flying down the side of a mountain. Which is what the Klunker's bread and butter is/was.

Fat Frank vs Maxxis Hookworm (tires)

I am looking for a fat urban assault tire. I need something tough. The Hookworms are a bit cheaper, and also have a lower TPI number (which I was told means stronger tire). Then I read about some Kevlar guard on the Fat Franks...Does anyone know if that's on the road surface? or the sidewall? I...

    Replacing rear sprocket

Hey guys. I feel my Electra cruiser 1 is geared way too low for me. I read where guys replaced the 22t rear sprocket with a 19. Will this make a significant difference? Right now I have to pedal my ... off to keep a good clip. What all do I need? (what sprocket, tool etc) also where should I get it?

    help make these bars work

If it has the grips, will the rubber shim work? Because they are still too small in diameter to git snug when the stem is torqued down all the way. (or any shim for that matter)

    help make these bars work

Thanks guys! Will just throw his old ones on until we get the correct stem. Bummer, but it is what it is.

    help make these bars work

I got some mini ape style bars from a buddy of mine. I gave them to my dad for his bike, but we cant get them to snugly fit into the stem. They dont have the raised center section like his other bikes, or the "threaded" area for grip. We tried to space the gap with rubber...no dice, the bars...
