    Schwinn Flying Star?

Yes. That's what I read, "windswept green"... really interesting color. And the picture I saw of a Flying Star, that bike was really deluxe. Like a ladies Phantom. My friend found his as only Frame & fork with truss rods. Too bad, it probably had was a killer bike. Still, nice find.

    Schwinn Flying Star?

That was my first thought..."somebody worked for Schwinn, this is custom" I know, nobody wants a post with no pictures. It's not my bike or I'd be on it. I will try to post pics tomorrow. I just thought there might be a chance someone would know what I was talking about.

    Schwinn Flying Star?

A friend of mine recently found a Schwinn that is a color I have never seen before. It's a womens, he looked it up and believes it's a 1956 Flying Star. The color is like pale light green with pale lavender accents. I did see a pic of one online that is the same color combo. It looks...

Tuf Neck National Pro BMX find! with Sonlite hub!!

I got out of bmx in about 1986. so I always consider anything from that period and before to be old school but really only because that's when I stopped keeping up.

Tuf Neck National Pro BMX find! with Sonlite hub!!

Tuf Neck National Pro BMX find! with Sonlite hub!!

Yes, all the Tuf-Neck stuff is great. But that front hub is the real score. Does anyone know if those frame dents can be removed?

Tuf Neck National Pro BMX find! with Sonlite hub!!

Found this one over the weekend. Very beat up but great for parts. Check out the Son-Lite front hub. Too bad the original back wheel is missing. Sugino cranks, Tuf neck chainring, seatpost/clamp, stem, Shimano pedals, Tange headset & bb... Frame looks like someone hit it with a hammer a...

20 inch Mead Prince hot rod

Hi, Managed to finally get this one rolling thanks in no small part to some nice folks here on RRB who helped me get the parts I needed. This little bike has been more trouble than any 26" inch I've ever built. Mostly because I don't have a ton of 20" parts but also because it was built from...

    '51 Schwinn

Well, the one I saw was also in a basement in Eau Claire WI. But that was last fall. Could have possibly went somewhere in the meantime. Same model/color, same condition. Had the fender bomb and rack. Could be!

    '51 Schwinn

Hey OhDeeBee, Did you find that in WI? I swear that's the same bike I saw in the basement of a house last year. The house was being cleared out but the lady would not sell it to me at that time.
