Picked up a gary fisher mountain bike today for $40, it's a little rough but rideable. I know that doesn't pertain to rat rods but it allows me to get out and ride while I worker on my schwinn corvette clunker.r

Well the hacksaw was unsuccessful, I think it was meant more for tree trimming. But, I used a girl's favorite power tool and yesssssss, it worked. Finally something moving in the right direction.

I'm going out to the garage, hacksaw at the ready...I hope this goes well. I'll take some pics.

Oh, I thought it was just for attaching the fender. I'm pretty light though, you don't think I could get away with it? I had this all planned out in my mind before I started and so far nothing is going to plan.

I promise to dress in a fashion that would not take the emphasis off of the importance of bikes ;)
