I've pored over photos on this site as well as others and can't seem to find a definitive answer. I'm putting Schwinn-style springer forks on my 26-inch Schwinn American, and i can't figure out the order that the bars go on the front tire...does the curved bar go on first or does the straight...

i'm really looking to fix up and make it my main ride, not to fix up and sell, but i appreciate the input.

one thing that i think would alleviate some of the bad deals is if the sellers on this site would adhere to the moderator's rules and ACCEPT PAYPAL. A number of the sales i was interested in would only take a money order, and in the moderator's forum, it expressly states to do business w/Paypal...
