At frist he didn't have a price it was make offer I went and looked at it and I made an offer. Then he said he had to get $200 Then he deleted the add and re-listed it for $275
Was thinking of buying this one, the wheels are mismatched. Not sure if the fenders, seat, handlebars are correct its late 40' early 50's
not sure if paint is original or spray bombed..
any clue of how much is to much $$$
Its really light, very comfortable and its a 4speed. Haven't rode it yet due to cold Mi. Weather and I still have to put a tube in the rear tire...
just picked it up yesterday.
I'm thinking more than likely I'm gonna go with the 26" felt wheels when they become available, and 26x2.125 tires. Then I'll see what kind of/if any problems I run into.
Thanks everyone for the info and Pic's, very much appreciated.
Thanks for posting pic's expjawa yes that's as a tight fit for sure. Im hoping to use springer forks, do you have more clearance on the rear? Or is it also a tight fit. Thanks
Hey undecider I read that post a couple days ago and was all over the net looking for them, found them a couple different places for around $155.Was gonna hold out for the Felt Forks but it looks like the sunlite will work for 3"
I'm still undecided on forks though, I really like the Abraham Linkage forks but they seem to be out of stock, I do have a nice Schwinn springer from the 50's but I wanted to use those on my wife's bike.
Thanks for the info cman.
I seen a post on here where someone had 26x57mm wheels on a Schwinn with I belive 26x2.125 tires, front and back.
Now I just have to decide on the 50mm felt wheels or the 57mm 3G wheels..
