Sure has come a ways in just under a months time. I've since added the dropstand and proper stand tab. Light is next on the docket.
Have a beautiful rear wheel close up in the meantime.

So you see time and again a piece or part comes up., maybe a light or a flag or even a seat cover.. sometimes it's even bells!
This thread is for all those cool little accessories that advertise Bike Shops and where they are now! One of the things I love most about this hobby is digging into...
This time to Buchanan, MI.
275 MI. From home. It was a beautiful day and the seller was a pleasant gentleman with the kind of voice you know has seen his share., a little jawing later, I'm in the room with the selection hanging and there she is. '40 Murray built Hiawatha Curve Mast., wasn't...
You ever been in a deal before. You see something you gotta have. That one bike.. part, even a car and someone else notices how much attention it's getting. Sees the value and the cool. Comes in and offers the seller ten times what you're already in a handshake on for the previous figure..

I have a side project going with @melancholera while we build up their first full "Rat" from frame up.
The front fender isn't an issue, where we're using a Matching fork and fender up front from CWC but the rear I feel may not be as .. fluid looking in its attachment.
The frame is a '41...

My question is this, how are you modifying the rods to match the new cutdown height of the steer tube?
Are you cutting the rods down and re-threading those, too?

I guess it's about time I start posting the things I find in an organized folder,. I've only been here since '14.
Where to begin. Where I once did? With my first find? Or forward. Probably forward.
This is the Current collection as of this post.
I've come back now after a year. People posting Every Day. So many posts and bikes and sales and Facebook group posts you never feel you'll catch up.
I feel like I'm through everything in an hour from the day before and take the rest to catch up on how this slow era has swept over our hobby...
This photo has surfaced a few times in the last decade or so. I can't help but to admire it every time it does.
Who wants to get on the bandwagon for making THESE?:
Perhaps not always Wood ones, as the cost would be the New Custom Part price,. But maybe something made from rolled tubing with...
Just a heads up, I've been avidly working at reopening ZVB on Facebook with my return to these spaces.
Should anyone want yet ANOTHER pre 1970 bicycle group to belong to, we did pretty good in member input a few years back before I had to close it up due to mental health. I'd love to see the...

Seeking condition 7+/10

Preferably complete but willing to see anything.
Thanks.
