Time for update, Im not happy with the top tube bike looks to square...... so time to change :D Also feel the back wheel is not wide enough so i made another one.. which also meant i had to make a new upper rear stay 8)

looking sweet, the seat tube turned out good imo.... As for the forks i see what you mean, that style springer suits the era but it kinda lacks in the rake department. The cranks over lap the front wheel also. I wouldnt bend them. Id drop the spring out of them first see how it drops and what...

In this setup it is two rims and two tubes, I did it this way with these rims as they were old and not true due to who ever laced and over tightend the spokes. They werent quite round and had to be clamped back into shape, which is a pita but will come out true if done right. You can also run...

Thanks guys :D Yeh Jimmy its two rims welded together good to do to old banger rims but this isnt the only way to widen rims, ive done another two ways also.

awesome idea! This is why i love custom!

I found that stripping the paint at the start of a stretch/custom makes life easier if your going for a full smooth clean finish. I tend to lack Motivation sanding the frame after all that grinding "as you'll see in my current build" :D Keep up the work and keep us posted.

Nice work on the stretch so far, i like the first seat tube idea..
