BMX Bandits = Cheesy movie! It's an Australian flick that features some nice Mongoose bikes & a young Nicole Kidman. The bikes are the only thing that this movie had going for it!

They are indeed silver, but it appears that at one point & time they were gold. They had been sitting in the elements for several years.

Scored a Peugeot road bike for free off of CL. It needs a little TLC. I took off the stem & drop-down bars. Relpaced them with some old aluminum Tuf Neck bars & a cheapie Mongoose stem. I plan on making it a 6spd with a thumb shifter or lacing up a coaster brake. As for tires, I'd like...

Re: Goathead h***! When I first moved to New Mexico from Florida, I was so used to running around on the beach with no shoes. A few run ins with these bad boys had me wearing shoes in no time.

Re: Goathead h***! They grow as ground cover, with 4 to a pod. Once dried they are hard & sharp. I've seen some the size of a penny.

A old football buddy of mine rides a woman's bike due to having so many knee surgeries. It's a sight to see a 6' 5" 280+ lbs man riding a woman's bike, that being said I don't have the nuggets to tease him. Plus like you said more power to 'em!!

There's similar show that is going to air on either A&E or the History Channel. I am not really sure which one, I just recall seeing the commercial. Years ago I used to manage a self-storage & the auctions were super competitive back then, I can only imagine what they'll be like now.

I am thinking about buying a Micargi stretch cruiser or just buying a limo frame & building it up. Does anyone here own a Micargi? If so, what is your feedback on it?
