this will be one of the only times ill be keeping a bike all-original.
 
Nice bike, But i think thats a conversion kit.. I dont think its all original. Nice bike though.

on the rear end, it has the original sticker from a local phoenix schwinn dealer from 1969. if youre skeptical, i can post a pic...
 
I believe you, Now that IS sweet man i would leave it alone. Nice fine dude.
 
The Schwinn Trikes were "Town and Country" That is an aftermarket kit that was usually put on Sears and Murray Trikes.
The front for is also bent. Keep it alive!!
 
Schwinn made the Town & County and apparently an extremely rare Fair Lady version.

Just pain the rear campus green to match and throw on 3 white walls. :mrgreen:

Here's what the Schwinn 'Town and Country' trike rear looks like as built by the factory. The label on the sprocket housing is Schwinn's patent number.
It appears that yours has an after-market conversion kit.

I'm a trike nut, so if it were mine, I'd paint it and make a chopper out of it like I did with an old Columbia 'Granny Trike' I found.
