Ooooo! Springer sissy! [emoji106]

Luke.
I think it will go well with the sealed bearing pivot I put under the seat, in the neck I am using for a seat post.

Kinda shows in this pic, will take it apart tomorrow to show how easy the pivot was to add...

Welded the inner springs to the cut up sissy bar. Then slid them in and bolted them on. Added a little bit of chord to keep the light springs engaged on the overload outer springs. Big washers to cup them.

Inners have a rate of about 100lbs each, and overloads at 75lbs each.

Its a bit squeaky, but adds to the ride.

That thicker tube sissy bar balances out the big fork nicely!

Luke.
Thanks Luke!! I like the looks of the 1" tubing with it. I was hoping it would balance it out a bit.

I have a longer length of tube that wasnt bent but my guy who has a mandrel bender wasnt around so, the kinked/bent one I had literally got hammered into shape around a 5" pole...

Just about done with this build. Just need to figure out the right place to take the pic's

Had some leather scraps in a bag from last winter. Dark red, faded stained on one of them.

Made the bike so it can stand up by itself.

And took some waxed chord and tied on a monster sized cover.

I plan to ride here tomorrow. It's about a 25 mile round trip from the house.

Those lines are pipe running up the levee at a wash drainage basin.
