I've seen some neat decals lately and thought I'd start a thread (if we don't have one already...?) with old decals. Not only factory decals, but decals that were added by the dealer where it was sold, city or state stickers, university stickers, and especially those added by the owner of the bike. Here's a decal I found under black paint on a prewar Schwinn. The little guy is named "Squirt", which was also the name of the soft drink. If you look close at the bottom is says, "Call me Squirt". The "Squirt" logo like on this decal dates to 1938. The bike is a 1941, based on the deluxe chainguard and straight springer legs. Gary
