i attended my first sacramento critical mass a week ago, and it was a blast. about an hour and half of riding with a pack of 200 bikes, during rush hour. the cops started following us, and when they had three cars behind us they ambushed us next to the capitol. it was pretty wild for a while though. people were standing on the sidewalks cheering, whoever was in front would turn at random and then fall back, it was total punk rock anarchy. this 47 year old man hasn't had that much fun in years. the cops used the excuse of 'no headlight' to give a dozen people tickets, and that's what broke it up. the next mass is the 30 of november, if you're in the area i'll see you there.
