Curtis? Help me I.D. this frame.

I was told this was a Curtis when I got it, but nowhere is there any refernce to this brand of bike. There is one Curtis brand in the UK that makes new BMX frames, but nothing on oldroads, nostalgic.net, etc. Not even geneal searches show any results. It's a pretty distinctive frame and I'd like to know what it might have looked like as a complete bike before I proceed building it.

I'll be coming through KC in Feb. or March. I'll take that Curtis back to CO with me so I can do some more research on it OK?
