fresh fines plus a ?

I pick this bike up by a curb that was with a bunch of trash waiting to be picked up. It's a old schwinn and the numbers are K915734 I think. But the numbers I have for schwinn, if I'm reading it right it should be a 1953but when they changed the number system it could be a 1959. Can someone straigten me out? Thanks
