Grip I.D.

I know this is for bike ID's, but these grips have me stumped. This set came off of a 30's western flyer, but today I saw an identical set on a 60's huffy. Both sets say Flex Grip, and the letters are very simlilar to the way Torrington is engraved on their products.

Flex Grip were a universal replacement like the more popular Hunt Wilde. They do look rather 60s. -Adam

I was wondering too because I have those as well but they sure don't grip the handle bars that well or at least mine doesn't.

They are also original equipment on many Murray built bikes of the late 50's early 60's

That's funny and ineresting to know, the bike the grips I have are on is a Murray made Mercury bicycle when I got it.
