hey chips,i am very proud of it! i am also very forunate to have such a great group of friends with varying talents. that are willing to help at anytime, but it is my vision that you see. if it wasn't for my friend kyle moody with the schwinn hornet the was next to "lacy lucille" his build called "fenderless freddie" that rj blackledge and myself helped build for kyle, that was kyle's vision, and when it was done i was the first to take it for a ride and i liked it,so one nite i got bored and the parts started coming off of the higgins. then one day i went to my local bike shop...indy cycle specialists and seen that thickslick and just had to have that tire, and so i found out about it and had to get the rim to go with it. never thought about measuring anything first,i only have a 1/4" clearance between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fork,if that. i had to have the rear of the frame widened to accept the 24x3 felt thickbrick. then i had it powder coated by my friends at TW PERFORMANCE COATINGS LLC. got it all put together and had all the chrome sent of to METAL FINISHERS and had it all done in polished nickle instead of chrome. the nickle looks much richer. i plan on riding it as much as i can this year with all my brothers and sisters of the CIRCLE CITY CRUISERS!
