Ok, so I've been meaning to put this up since it happened, uhmmm...in January but what can I say...I've been busy! :wink:
Here in Texas , we replaced "Confederate Heroes Day" w/ MLK Day a few years ago. I don't really care one way or another, all I know is I and the kids get a day off! We had had quite a bit of rain lately and this was the first un-rainy and warm day in a while so I yanked the kids out of bed at the crack of noon and headed for a our local greenbelt :lol:
The Boy (also known as my 14 year old son) wasn't to enthusiastic but at least he went. The Girl (known commonly as the Princess and is 9) was excited b/c I promised we'd stop at the playground for a good long time.
Not many people in the parking lot so it means the bike path will be relatively clear.
So we're off!
Woo hoo, we're having fun now!
