think the 502 was Sears number.

4161 is the Sears catalog # for a 1961 JC Higgins Flightliner, with the chrome frame. -Adam

Yes, Murray built most of Sears' bikes from 1938-90s. Most also had a comparable Murray badged model, as well as Murray built Western Flyers, Hiawathas, etc. -Adam

They are cool bikes, here is Sears Parts Direct for it but of course after all these years no parts but it does have a diagram of the bike & what parts it originally had to save as to your pictures or print.

Wow, it's amazing that you can still look 60s vintage bikes up on the Sears parts site, great source of info, thanks.....
