So, I got this one in a trade.

Trying to figure out the era. I'm guessing 60's?

Is that crank a Ross?

From Old Roads : Determining a Huffy's age requires two steps:

The last digit of the year of manufacture can be determined by the first digit of the serial number.
Then you have to look for other characteristics to determine the decade of manufacture.
Example:
Your serial number starts with "5"
Your cycle has 26 x 1.75 tires
Your cycle has a built in tank
This would be a cycle manufactured in 1965

hi there buddy, here's my friend joes 62 huffy galaxie, it used to be his dads as you can see they make cool rides

Your serial nuber will be on the rear dropout, where the rear wheel bolts on. Your frame and the tank tell me this one is a 1960-1965 model.

I have a 61' JCHiggins (Huffy built) and the serial number for mine was buried under a few layers of dirt and paint, but I finally found them On the bottom bracket shell (almst bottom dead center). Bet yours will start with a W (for Western Flyer), but that first number, like mentioned will be the las didget of the year made. But yeah, on the bottom bracket shell, probably under paint.
